Welcome To SONARPUR AROHI

Our primary goal is to protect the exploration and development of unknown planets from pollution

Being a prominent mountaineering organisation the “Sonarpur Arohi” arranged various courses like rock climbing, nature study and camping course for the last 34 years with not less than 1600 students successfully, along with summer adventure trek for the last 28 years with thousands of participants.

At the same time highly efficient members of our organisation have taken the initiative in numerous mountaineering expeditions, high altitude treks, winter treks, desert treks, coastal treks and cycling programs for last many decades.

Inside our club premises we offer sport climbing practice and training sessions for students and candidates who are interested in artificial rock wall climbing. Among them, few member participated state level and national competitionship.

Moreover, we offer a library with countless informative books related to adventure, especially for mountaineering.

Apart from the organisational program, every year members of Arohi attend many program related to land, air and water adventure.

Not only adventure, but also we do awareness programs to save green and make the city plastic free. We have done plantation programs and distributed seeds to make people encouraged for plantation. We have taken campaign program like eye donation, body donation to encourage people to be with the people for the people.

During the time of covid-19 pandemic we have arranged medical camps for the needy people. For covid patients we delivered medicine on demand at his/her home at an actual price. We also supplied oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders free of cost at Baruipur, Sonarpur, and Narendrapur PS & areas and distributed food as when required.
