Trek Itinerary

Day 1:- Kathgodam to Lohajung

Day 2:- Lohajung to Didna

Day 3:- Didna to Bedni Bugyal

Day 4:- Bedni Bugyal to Bhagwabasa

Day 5:- Bhagwabasa to Sheela Samudra (13,123 ft) via Roopkund (15,750 ft) to Junargali (16,568 ft)

Day 6:- Rest and acclimatization at Sheela Samudra

Day 7:- Sheela Samudra to Dodang (14,698 ft )

Day 8:- Dodang to Homkund (13,320 ft) and Ronti Saddle (17,388 ft). Return to Dodang

Day 9:- Dodang to Latakhopri

Day 10:- Latakhopri to Sutol

Day 11:- Sutol to Ghat

Day 12:- Drive to Haldwani/Haridwar.

Description

Ronti Saddle Homkund Trek
Ronti Saddle is a saddle between the glorious Himalayan peaks of Nanda Ghungti and Trishul. The Route of Ronti Saddle Trek passes through the trail of Roopkund. Roopkund comes on the fourth day of this trek. The trek offers grand views of Nanda Ghungti(6309 meters), Trisul I (7120 meters), II (6690 meters), and III (6007 meters) mountains. Ronti Saddle and its subsidiary peaks grant us

overwhelming pleasure. The mountain lies at the height of 6029m above sea level inspiring us to keep going through ups and downs till we reach our summit.

As you enter the Sheela Samudra meaning ‘Sea of Rocks’. The name is derived from the glacier coming down from Trishul. After climbing the Mandakini river, the trek will take us to Homkund, then Ronti Saddle.
